My wife and I stayed at Hotel Saint Andre des Arts (hereafter SAdA) from June 25 - June 30, 2024. It was our first time in this hotel in ~ 15 visits to Paris (we do not remember the exact number). SAdA was by far the best hotel we have experienced in Paris, and in terms of personal help to us, the best hotel we have visited world-wide. Obviously, there exist more opulent hotels. Here's why we prefer SAdA: We chose SAdA because it is centrally located in (to us) the liveliest and most interesting part of Paris. Yet our room was quiet, completely comfortable, and large enough to accommodate our extensive luggage (we came to summertime Paris from the far-northern arctic). So the usually easiest needs for comfortable living were very well met. That, to a large extent, is more or less true for other hotels, too. What makes SAdA unique is the over-the-top excellent help that they have provided for our short and (in practice) challenging visit. My wife is 81 years old and walks with difficulty. We wanted to experience cultural and scenic highlights, some of them new and others that are "old friends" with which we wanted to reconnect. We wanted to do as much as possible in our too-short 5-day visit. The hotel staff and manager went far beyond our expectations to help. In collaboration with us, they booked an opera at Palais Garnier, the ballet Swan Lake at Opera Bastille, and a concert at the Sainte Chapelle, successfully getting superb seats. They printed the tickets, and they arranged private transportation for us both there and back. Two of the tickets were bought for performances on the same night. The private car service that they arranged also allowed us to return to many of our favorite haunts without straining my wife' limited walking capacity. SAdA turned a short visit into a triumph. We give Hotel Saint Andre des Arts our highest recommendation.

We booked a Standard Double Room (Chambre Double Standard) for 6 nights. The location of the hotel is excellent, it’s a couple of minutes' walk to the "Odeon" metro station, and a 5-7 minute walk to the river Seine and Notre Dame. There are many good and not expensive cafes & restaurants nearby, and the supermarket "Carrefour" is around the corner. The service at the hotel is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and attentive. At our request, we got a quiet room. Windows of the rooms are with good sound insulation. Robes, slippers, and toothbrushes are provided at request. Every day the water bottle is replenished, and coffee capsules, tea bags, and small chocolates are added. Towels are changed daily. The air conditioning works well for both heat and cold, you can regulate the temperature yourself. The bathroom has a towel dryer, which can be turned on with a heating button. All rooms at the hotel have carpeted floors.

The overall experience was definitely lovely! First of all, the location of the hotel was literally amazing! All the sightseeings, needed metro stations, grocery shops, cafes, restaurants - everything is nearby! The staff of the hotel were super friendly and helpful! The lady that was serving the breakfast was a mere sunshine that was making my day even brighter:) The room was always clean. Though this area is definitely lively and has a lot of restaurants nearby, it was always silent in the room, so that I had everything I needed for a good sleep at nights.

The Hotel was comfortable and it’s in a great location for Musee D’Orsay, Notre Dame and the Louvre. Lots of great restaurants & bars nearby as well as Metro stations, so a perfect location from which to explore Paris. The only thing to remember is to request a quiet room because there is an all-night bar/pub opposite and it’s noisy outside until the late early hours. You can get the Metro from Gare du Nor straight to Odeon station (Line 4) which is less than a 5-min walk from the Hotel.

The hotel is beautifully designed. The staff is courteous and always at your service, for any request or claim. The location is excellent, very close to the Louvre and tourist areas, and there are many restaurants, bars, cafes, patisserie, clothing stores, supermarket and everything you could want in Paris, very close to Saint Germain. And right in front of the hotel there is a stunning alley full of restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!!!
